As SVP and GM of Healthcare Delivery at physIQ, Gary Manning is focused on establishing, building, and executing a customer-facing commercial strategy to achieve the corporate goals for the Healthcare Business Unit. Gary is an accomplished medical device and solution executive leader who has progressed from a clinical engineering foundation through sales and marketing, to leading teams as a senior executive. His passion for the medical solution industry is evident through his progressive success, personal growth, and launch of revolutionary clinical solutions that have made a positive impact while building growth companies. Starting his career as a hospital clinical engineer, Gary then spent several successful years at Datascope in many different global commercial positions in both the Cardiac and Patient Monitoring divisions. In 2008, Gary joined the start-up company, Sotera Wireless as SVP Sales & Marketing where he led product development, marketing, business development, and built global direct and indirect sales teams (USA & 6 other countries in Asia-Pacific, and EMEA). Gary has spent the last three years in the digital health arena building and commercializing solutions to take better care of acute and chronic patients in their homes. Gary is a passionate and energetic leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills. He believes in taking a pragmatic and focused approach to building long-lasting relationships and has the ability to troubleshoot challenges to drive forward the organization’s mission. Gary gained his Higher National Diploma in Electronics Engineering in the UK and his BSc in Business Marketing in the US. He has been an invited speaker at several events focused on building products and companies incorporating customer insights to build a successful organization.
